Performing on authentic instruments from the Caribbean islands, the Island Hoppers’ distinct sound has made them one of the area’s more popular groups. Whether they’re playing originals written by members of the band or old favorites, their audiences delight in the band’s easygoing sound. While the Island Hoppers members have extensive recording experience, they also individually teach educational programs in area schools and have many of their works published by major music publishing companies. The band regularly performs throughout much of New York State and northern Pennsylvania.
